PM Gets Bladdered

Regular readers will know that I try to offer some cultural pointers in this blog. After all, this is a foreign country. Sometimes, you come across something that speaks volumes, usually becuase it's written by an Australian, as is the following piece. A few words of explanation: When the good folk of the Sydney suburbs were hitting the living daylights out of each other on the basis of whether they were of Middle Eastern extraction or not, the Prime Minister John Howard remarked that this was not a racist country. More recently, international cricketers from the Indian sub-continent and, ironically, South African, have been subject to racist abuse from the crowd. Right, you're all set. Off you go to The Bladder
